EDITORIAL POLICY

This page explains the standards we hold ourselves to at Familya.

Accuracy and sourcing

  • We check facts before publishing and prefer primary sources such as official statements, documents, data and direct interviews.
  • We name our sources and link to them where possible.
  • We clearly separate reporting, explanation and opinion.

Original work

  • We do not copy other websites. Every article must add something useful: original reporting, analysis, context or clear explanation.
  • We credit others when we use their work, and quote only short excerpts.
  • We only use images we created, have a licence for, or have permission to use.

Trending topics

We may write about subjects many people are searching for. We do not publish speculation as fact, and we label what is confirmed and what is not.

Headlines

Headlines must reflect the article. We do not use misleading or sensational headlines to attract clicks.

Updates

When new information changes a story, we update the article and show an Updated date. See our corrections policy.

Independence and advertising

Advertising and affiliate relationships do not decide what we cover or how we cover it. Sponsored content, if any, is clearly labelled.

Use of AI tools

We may use AI tools for research or editing support. Every article is written or reviewed by a human editor who is responsible for its accuracy.
